Supplementary Service Programs and Terms of Payment

EdLink Management Corporation is presenting these programs for international students coming to Canada for short-term or long-term studies, to make their stays as rewarding and trouble-free as possible. EdLink's team of professional and caring workers will help students and parents assured that the time they spend with EdLink is of high quality and memorable.

Home Stay Program (For students registered in Summer Day Camps)

Students are placed in a local family approved by local police department, with own bedrooms and a home-like environment. Meals and weekdays transportations to summer programs is arranged but the students are expected to respect the families’ culture, routines and habits. The program includes the following service:

Pick up from airport and send to home stay family.
Complete accommodation and meals.
Transportation to and from activities.
Visitor standard insurance.
Weekend educational activities including sightseeing, biking, movie, skating, bowling.
Paid postcard to send home at the end of the first week.
Counseling for home-sickness.
Drop off to airport from home stay family.

Fees: US$310 / week
         US$541 / 2 weeks
         US$33 / extra day
         (Price does not include the summer program fees.)

Vancouver International Airport to Destination outside Greater Vancouver: US$95

School Matching / Registration Program (For students planning to register in long-term studies only.)

On receipt of school reports and relevant examination scores, students are matched to the best school / college within the province of British Columbia. Students are asked to submit documents as required by the school / college for formal registration. The program includes the following service:

School/college matching.
Complete set of registration form send to student.

Fees: US$300

Personal Counseling / Home Reporting Program (For students registered in long-term studies only.)

Students away from home may face many problems. These services encourage the students to experience a productive period, learn as much as they can, stay healthy in body and spirit, and be assured that their families in China are kept in close contact and receive regular news.

Monthly home and school visits.
Weekend and holiday educational sightseeing trips.
Special tuition on academic subjects 5 hours a week.
Monthly email report and activity photographs to parents in China.

Fees: US$430 / month

Terms of Payment

30 days advance notice is requested for any service.
Payment of 50% fee is payable to EdLink Management Corporation at time of application. Complete payment is payable for school matching / registration program at time of application.
Home stay information will be forwarded as soon as payment is found.
School matching information will be forwarded two weeks after payment is found.
Any outstanding fee is to be paid to EdLink Management Corporation 14 days before arrival in Vancouver.
One weeks’ notice must be given when a student decides to leave their home stay before the requested time.
Group fee is available on request and only apply to ten or more students with the same arrival and departure date.

50% refund - Cancellation less than 30 days and up to 14 days before arrival
No refund - Cancellation less than 14 days before arrival
